Our clay tempered 1095 steel swords may be customized with the best elements (koshirae): magnolia wood sayas, sometimes with lacquered ray skin, or even brass fittings featuring real gold and silver plating. However, the 1095 high carbon steel (hagane) takes advantage of the selective quenching (hamon), resulting in a razor-sharp blade ideal for intensive use. Of course, all of our blades are full tang (they feature 2 mekugis). You also have the possibility to create your sword with or without bohi. A size adjustment is possible as well.
